What’s a service plan?

The Volkswagen Service Plan provides the first three scheduled services your vehicle will need and gives you peace of mind having full transparency of price and required maintenance at each service interval.

What’s more, it guarantees your car is only serviced by factory certified Volkswagen technicians, using Volkswagen Genuine Parts® and the latest diagnostic equipment.

What’s does it include?

The Volkswagen Service Plan includes Genuine Volkswagen Parts including pollen filters, consumables like oil and brake fluids, along with scheduled service labour and workshop costs.

And because Volkswagen’s service schedule is on average once a year (or 15,000kms whichever comes first), compared with other manufacturers who demand six monthly service intervals, you can relax knowing that you don’t have to service your car as often with all service costs covered for the next 3 years.

Passenger vehicles

New Passenger vehicles – the first 3 scheduled services (within 3 years or 45,000km, whichever occurs first), from the date of delivery. It includes*:

  • All services, inclusive of Genuine Parts and lubricants, according to your vehicle’s recommended service schedule
  • A full diagnostic inspection at every service interval and software updates as required, please note: excludes navigational software updates

Commercial vehicles

New Amarok vehicles – the first 3 scheduled services (within 3 years or 60,000km, whichever occurs first), from the date of delivery*.

New Caddy and Multivan petrol, or PHEV models – the first 3 scheduled services (within 3 years or 45,000km, whichever occurs first), from the date of delivery*.

All other new Volkswagen Commercial diesel models – the first 3 scheduled services (within 6 years or 90,000km, whichever occurs first), from the date of delivery*.

Who qualifies?

If you purchased your Volkswagen new in New Zealand after May 1st 2025, you can sit back and relax. You don’t have to do a thing, you’ll automatically qualify and have your first three services covered.

Service plans are available for most popular passenger and commercial vehicles, including: Polo, Golf, e-Golf, Tiguan, Passat, Touareg, Caddy, Transporter, Multivan and Amarok.

Purchase a service plan

A Service Plan can be purchased from any approved service centre from the date of your new vehicles first registration, right up until your very first service.

The Service Plan is fully transferable – if you part with your Volkswagen before the end of the contract, the Service plan stays with the car for the new owner, improving the resale value.
